Mark van Bommel grabbed a late winner as PSV Eindhoven beat Feyenoord 2-1 to reach the semi-finals of the KNVB Cup.

Dries Mertens gave PSV the lead after 20 minutes and, after Graziano Pelle (29) equalised for the visitors, Van Bommel scored the decisive goal 12 minutes from time.

In Wednesday's other quarter-final tie, PEC Zwolle beat Heracles 3-2 to book their place in the last four.

Marko Vejinovic gave Heracles the lead after just nine minutes, but the home side hit back through Arne Slot (16) and Fred Benson (44).

Jesper Drost made it 3-1 shortly before the hour mark and although Everton (65) soon pulled one back, Zwolle held on for the win.
