Ivory Coast took a giant stride towards the knockout stage of the Africa Cup of Nations with a routine 3-0 victory over Tunisia in Rustenburg.
Arsenal's Gervinho, Manchester City's Yaya Toure and Didier Ya Konan were on target as the Elephants followed up their 2-1 win over Togo with another three points to cement their place at the top of Group D.
Only a heavy defeat in their final group match against Algeria could now deny the Ivorians their place in the last eight, although even that outcome would rest heavily on results elsewhere.
Tunisia were thoroughly outclassed but their narrow win over Algeria in their opening match means they retain a decent chance of progressing.
In the day's other game, Emmanuel Adebayor's first-half strike and a stoppage-time clincher from substitute Dove Wome earned Togo a 2-0 win over Algeria, a result which sends the North Africans tumbling out of the competition.
Spurs star Adebayor opened the scoring against the run of play in the 32nd minute and, during the early stages of the 13 minutes of stoppage time which were added after play was halted due to the frame of the goal being knocked out of line, Wome sealed matters.
Togo join Tunisia on three points and the pair will now battle it out on Wednesday for a place in the last eight.
