St Mirren v Celtic

St Mirren could give their new Portuguese arrival Esmael Goncalves his debut after he was granted international clearance. The Rio Ave striker has joined the Paisley side on a loan deal until the end of the season and could partner 12-goal striker Steven Thompson in attack as the Buddies seek to halt an eight-game run of straight defeats against Celtic.

Hoops boss Danny Lennon says it is "touch and go" whether midfielder Kenny McLean will recover in time from his knee ligament injury to play a part in the Hampden showpiece. Darren McGregor (knee) and Thomas Reilly (ankle) miss out.

Fraser Forster will be missing again for Celtic following a neck injury which has kept him out of the last two matches.

Midfielder Kris Commons is a doubt with a rib injury and will be assessed while defender Kelvin Wilson returns from suspension.

Top scorers (all competitions): Steven Thompson (St Mirren) 12; Gary Hooper (Celtic) 22

Referee: William Collum (Scotland).
