Iron relief over Nolan injury
Scunthorpe boss Brian Laws has revealed that Eddie Nolan's injury in Saturday's clash with Burton is not as serious as first thought.
Laws feared the worst when Nolan was taken off in the 21st minute of the 2-2 draw at the Pirelli Stadium, but is now hoping to see the defender return to action within a fortnight.
Laws told the club's official website: "Eddie was getting scanned on Tuesday.
"His movement is excellent and since the weekend he is almost free of pain - which is a good sign.
"So I will keep my fingers crossed that we do not see anything too drastic.
"He could be out for a couple of weeks maximum and if that is the case then I would be more than happy with that."
