Speculation had suggested that QPR had put a £5million offer to their Championship rivals for Scotland international Phillips.
Ince, however, has moved to dismiss the rumours and is looking forward to seeing Phillips back in action at Bloomfield Road in the near future as he works his way back from a broken arm suffered early in pre-season.
He told The Gazette: "There's nothing in it, as far as I know.
"Matt Phillips has not even started training yet. I knew there was interest from some clubs a couple of weeks ago. But look at our squad. Unless they come in with a major bid, he's a Blackpool player.
"Unless the chairman has accepted a bid which I don't know about, which I doubt, then there's nothing in it. He's a Blackpool player and that's how it will stay.
"Matt's a massive loss for us at the moment. We are really missing his quality, and you can understand why he's being linked with clubs like QPR.
"At the moment, no-one has told me that QPR have bid, so he'll be staying with me until they do."
