Martin Cranie: Extended chance at Leeds

United boss Neil Warnock had initially said he would review the player's position after the trip to the south-west, but Cranie, who has been playing at centre-back, has travelled to Norway with the squad.

Absentees include injured duo Paddy Kenny and Luciano Becchio, while Ramon Nunez has also remained behind.

Warnock, technical director Gwyn Williams and central defender Tom Lees will join up with the squad on Wednesday afternoon ahead of the game with Sandefjord.

Former Portsmouth midfielder David Norris will make his debut against the Norwegians, while fellow midfield man Rodolph Austin could join him in the United ranks at Preston on Saturday.
