Huszti passed a medical at the weekend and the final formalities over a transfer for an undisclosed fee were completed on Monday night.

"It is great to be back," said the 29-year-old, who played for Hannover between 2006 and 2009.

"I had a great time in Hannover and that is why I really wanted to come back here.

"The coach really wanted me to come back and that was obviously an important reason why I agreed.

"Since I left, the club has developed excellently and I would now like to join them in going further."

Huszti played 81 times and scored 17 goals in his first spell for the Reds and now joins a club who are preparing for a second straight season in the Europa League.
