Steven Whittaker: Not worried about Green threat

The defender rejected a transfer of his contract to Green's newco in order to leave Ibrox on a free transfer before signing for Norwich last week.

Green has threatened to sue players who have followed Whittaker's example, with Kyle Lafferty having already joined Sion and Jamie Ness agreeing to move to Stoke City.

However, Whittaker is not worrying about that possibility and instead is focusing on trying to make an impact in England following his switch to Carrow Road.

"No, not at all," Whittaker told Sky Sports News when asked if he is worried about possibly being sued.

"Obviously, I made my decision on the football side of things and the legal side of things will take care of itself.

When asked if he worries about Rangers' future, he added: "I do. I hope Mr Green can take the club back to what it deserves to be.

"I wish him all the best in his new adventure and I hope he does bring the club back to its best."
