The pair, who played together at Barnet before being reunited at City, started a match together for the Robins for the first time in the 3-1 defeat of Burnley last weekend.
Adomah, who revealed the two shared a peculiar nickname during their time at Underhill, is confident he and his old friend have a lot to offer manager Derek McInnes as he looks to lead City away from danger.
"I thought he (Bolasie) played well and we linked well together," he told the club's official website. "It was the old Barnet connections - they used to call us 'book-ends' back in the day.
"We're both capable of playing on either wing, or up front.
"We're both still young but now we've played in the same team again, hopefully we can keep it up."
