League Two leaders Bournemouth are hoping goalkeeper Shwan Jalal will be fit for the clash at Barnet in League Two on Tuesday night.

After damaging his ankle in training on Thursday, Jalal failed a fitness test and did not feature in the 2-1 reverse to Notts County on Saturday.

In his absence, the Cherries were forced to turn to 18-year old youth team stopper Dan Thomas, and with no other goalkeepers on the books, the club could ask for special dispensation to sign another keeper if Jalal is ruled out once again.

Manager Eddie Howe is definitely set to be without Shaun Cooper, who is out until the new year with a hip injury.

Mark Molesley is also out for around six weeks with a foot injury, while Scott Guyett remains sidelined with a knee problem.

With a squad of only 17 players, Howe is likely to include Sammy Igoe in his plans at Underhill, even though the midfielder has been hampered by knee and shin injuries in recent weeks.
