CHERRIES WAIT ON IGOE

Bournemouth are hoping veteran midfielder Sammy Igoe will be fit for their trip to Bradford.

The experienced playmaker made his return from two months out with a bruised marrow in last weekend's 3-1 FA Cup win over Chesterfield, scoring a goal in the process.

But he suffered a nasty gash to his shin during the game and has had stitches this week in a bid to recover in time for the clash with Stuart McCall's men.

Should Igoe fail to recover, Marvin Bartley is the likely candidate to deputise.

Mark Molesley (foot) and Shaun Cooper (hip) are out, though, as manager Eddie Howe looks to get his League Two leaders back to winning ways after their 4-0 thrashing by Rochdale last time out.

Howe this week turned down the opportunity to replace Darren Ferguson as Peterborough's manager.

Bradford manager Stuart McCall hopes to have Gareth Evans and Simon Ramsden back in his squad, while Lee Bullock returns from suspension.

Striker Evans missed the Johnstone's Paint Trophy penalty shoot-out win over Port Vale due to a foot injury, while defender Ramsden has been sidelined for three weeks with a calf strain.

Both players returned to full training this week and are hoping to prove their fitness, but midfielder Bullock is expected to feature after a one-game ban.

Teenager Luke Sharry made his first-team debut for the Bantams against Port Vale, but could revert to the substitutes' bench.

Striker Leon Osborne is out after injuring his ankle for the reserves against Grimsby this week.

Long-term absentees Peter Thorne (hamstring), Omar Daley (knee) and Stephen O'Leary (broken foot) remain sidelined.
