Michael Gordon goes straight into Lincoln's squad for the visit of Cheltenham.
The right winger joined the Imps this week from Ryman League side Merstham, for whom he has scored seven goals in 16 appearances this season.
City have some players carrying knocks following the FA Cup win at Telford, but boss Chris Sutton refused to reveal their identities.
"There are slight doubts over a few of the players that are carrying niggles," said Sutton.
Midfielder Anthony Pulis has extended his loan spell from Southampton until January and is expected to retain his place in the starting line-up.
However, on-loan left-back Eric Lichaj serves the second game of a three-match ban while fellow defender Paul Green (hip) and striker Paul Connor (knee) remain out.
Cheltenham caretaker manager John Schofield will have Frankie Artus and Lee Ridley available.
Artus was injured in the 3-1 FA Cup first-round defeat at Torquay but should be involved after returning to training on Thursday.
Ridley has been suffering with calf problems over the past few weeks but will be fit for this weekend.
The 27-year-old was originally expected to miss the game, regardless of his calf niggle, after he received a straight red card against Torquay. But the card has been overturned on appeal and he will therefore be available for the clash.
However, Schofield will be without defender Shane Duff with a long-term Achilles problem and Oliver Bozanic, who has yet to recover from a knee injury.
The on-loan Reading midfielder played 75 minutes for their reserves on Tuesday night as he continues to step-up his return to match fitness.
