New loan signings Alan Sheehan and Danny Ward will be included in Swindon's squad to face Wrexham.

Defender Sheehan arrived from Leeds on Thursday afternoon and was closely followed by Bolton striker Ward as the emergency loan window drew to a busy close at the County Ground.

However, manager Danny Wilson will be without winger Anthony McNamee after he penned a loan deal at Norwich, only intensifying speculation that his long-term future lies away from the club.

In-form striker Charlie Austin is cup-tied having featured earlier in the competition for Poole Town, meaning Wilson must make at least two changes from the starting XI that secured an impressive 2-1 triumph over high-flying Huddersfield in midweek.

Alex Revell is ineligible to step in due to the terms of his loan agreement from Southend, so either Lee Peacock or Ben Hutchinson should start in attack alongside Billy Paynter.

Hasney Aljofree (knee), Alan O'Brien (hamstring), Lloyd Macklin (fractured leg) and Kurt Hammonds (knee) are still not yet ready to return despite working on their match fitness. Mark Marshall is back at the club following his loan spell at Hereford.
