Scunthorpe manager Brian Laws has completed his third signing of the summer with the capture of striker Roman Calliste on a free transfer from Liverpool.
The 20-year-old Welsh Under-21 forward was a product of the Manchester United youth system and he won the FA Youth Cup with the Red Devils in 2003.
After moving to Anfield in August 2005, he netted on his reserve team debut and went on to finish the season as top scorer for the Reds' second string with eight goals.
He has signed a one-year deal with the Iron.
