Carlisle's preparations for an assault on League One have begun to take shape after their pre-season schedule was announced.
Paul Simpson's men, who won the League Two title last season for their second promotion in 12 months, begin pre-season training on July 3.
They then face a short trip to Cumbrian amateur side Penrith on July 7 before flying to Ibiza to play two games on July 11 and 13.
That will be followed by a trip to Kendal on July 15 before further warm-up games against Southport on July 19 and Hartlepool away six days later.
Games have also been pencilled in for July 22 and 29 but the opposition has yet to be finalised.
