Manchester United will visit First Division Walsall for a pre-season friendly
on July 27.
While most of the Red Devils' first-team squad will be in the United States
for a high-profile three-match tour, the game will provide useful match practice
for those involved in the latter stages of Euro 2004, who are likely to be given
an extended summer break.
Meanwhile, United will announce in the next fortnight the other three teams
that will contest the inaugural Vodafone Cup, which will be played at Old
Trafford on August 3 and 5.
