Despite dominating proceedings for large spells, Ipswich were unable to take all three points as they drew 1-1 with Blackpool in their Coca-Cola Championship clash at Portman Road.
Alex Baptiste gave the visitors the lead midway through the first half with a fine drive before the hosts responded with a well-struck equaliser from Miller.
An uneventful start sparked into life after eight minutes when Ipswich's Jon Stead ran down the right flank and pulled the ball across the six-yard box.
The ball dropped between Danny Haynes and Pablo Counago before Shaun Barker fired it behind his own goal for a corner.
Blackpool's first chance fell to David Fox after 14 minutes when the home defence left the midfielder unmarked on the edge of the area and he fired fiercely at goal but Richard Wright was able to claim the ball at the second attempt.
The pace of the game slowed as both sides lacked confidence to attack and Roy O'Donovan failed to trouble Wright with an effort from over 30 yards.
Haynes then created a chance, sprinting down the right before delivering a cross to Counago who headed over the bar.
Blackpool grabbed the lead when Baptiste took the ball on the halfway line and carried it deep into the Ipswich half before playing a neat one-two with Fox on the edge of the area and shooting inside the near post from 12 yards.
Ipswich wasted no time in pulling back onto level terms when Miller charged into the visitors' penalty area and smashed a loose ball into the bottom corner after 34 minutes.
The home side could have taken the lead moments into the second period but Stead's spectacular overhead kick was parried wide by Matthew Gilks in the visitors goal.
Gareth McAuley then rose above the entire Blackpool defence to head Owen Garvan's corner goalbound but Gilks was again a match for the effort.
Ipswich continued to stream forward in search of the lead and substitute Veliche Shumulikoski fed in Stead for another chance but this time he fired over with a left-footed drive when he was through clear on goal.
Civelli then curled a shot agonisingly wide as Town boss Jim Magilton looked to push his side forward against a Blackpool side who were struggling to get out of their own half.
The Seasiders' first chance of the half came with 20 minutes to play, a long ball from Rob Edwards found DJ Campbell but he was unable to strike the ball on target.
Haynes had a glorious chance in the closing stages but he couldn't get the ball out of his feet and could only fire wide.
