Substitute David Healy's last-gasp penalty earned Leeds a point in an entertaining 1-1 draw against Ipswich at Portman Road.
Danny Haynes' second goal of the season two minutes into the second half had seemingly ensured maximum points for Town, but Jason de Vos was penalised for handling the ball in the area and Healy slotted home his spot-kick to move Leeds up to third.
Ipswich made three changes to the side which claimed a 2-0 win against Southampton last time out, with Matt Richards, Haynes and Ian Westlake all starting.
Leeds made just one change following a 3-0 victory against Sheffield Wednesday, with Rob Hulse preferred to Robbie Blake in attack.
In a lively opening, Gary Kelly drilled a shot over the crossbar for Leeds, while Haynes sidefooted wide for the Tractor Boys from 12 yards.
Kelly turned provider in the 11th minute, but Eddie Lewis could only head his cross into the arms of Shane Supple, and the Town goalkeeper was called into action again shortly afterwards to deny Liam Miller.
Ipswich hit back in an open first half, with Westlake flashing a right-footed shot past the right-hand upright and Richards firing inches wide with a shot from the edge of the box.
Leeds finished the half strongly, with Fabian Wilnis managing to clear the ball to safety in a goalmouth scramble, before a Hulse header from a Lewis cross was superbly punched clear by Supple.
But the Yorkshiremen were rocked two minutes after the restart when Ipswich took the lead.
Richards played in Haynes, and the young striker raced through, one-on-one with Neil Sullivan, kept his cool and slotted home.
Haynes came agonisingly close to making it two shortly afterwards, turning Paul Butler on the left and bearing down on Sullivan, only to hack his shot against the crossbar.
Alan Lee curled a shot into the arms of Sullivan before Leeds responded.
Hulse connected well with a Lewis cross but Supple parried to safety, before Lewis smashed a shot inches past the post.
The lively Haynes suffered an injury attempting a shot with just under 20 minutes left and had to leave the field, with Adam Proudlock coming on in his place.
Town lost a bit of attacking momentum as a result, and Leeds came back into the game, levelling with just two minutes remaining.
De Vos was adjudged to have handled a Lewis centre in the box, and Healy, on as a substitute for Miller, sent Supple the wrong way from the penalty spot to snatch a point for Kevin Blackwell's men.
