On-loan Portsmouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is keen on extending his stay at Ipswich.

Begovic has impressed since ousting Richard Wright last month and is set to stay with Roy Keane's side until the new year.

But he told the club's official website: "We will look at it in January but I am certainly enjoying my football.

"I want to play games and I'm getting that opportunity here so if that continues, there is no reason for me to go.

"The club is in a false position in the table and I want to help the team move up the league."
