Reading defender Steve Brown expects to be fit after limping off with a dead leg in the early stages of Easter Monday's 3-0 defeat at Portsmouth - but John Mackie is on standby.

Grimsby player-boss Paul Groves will be without striker Michael Boulding, who has failed to shake off a niggling ankle injury.

Defender Simon Ford is close to full fitness and may return to the squad for a game which may see Groves blood several of his younger players now the club have been relegated to the Second Division.
