Cardiff manager Dave Jones has dismissed reports he and Gabor Gyepes have been involved in a bust-up.

Talk of a falling-out intensified after Gyepes was left out of Jones' squad altogether for last weekend's clash at Sheffield United.

But Jones has moved to clear up the confusion and told the Western Mail: "The truth of the matter is his wife went into labour on Friday morning, and he flew out to be with her on Saturday morning.

"I talked to him. He knows he has to fight for his place, like every player at this club. There's been no falling-out."
