Brighton manager Mark McGhee has reiterated his desire to stay with the club for the long haul after their relegation to League One.
McGhee insists he took over knowing the Seagulls were likely to be a yo-yo club for as long as they are hampered by playing their home games at Withdean.
Brighton have now tasted three promotions and two relegations since arriving at the ill-suited athletics stadium in 1999, and McGhee does not expect the situation to change until they move into their proposed new ground in 2009.
"I took the job knowing it wasn't going to change in the short-term," he said.
"I knew there would be no money to spend on the team and that we would have to duck and dive, get the occasional decent free transfer in and bring on the youth players, and that is a long-term job.
"When we get into the new stadium and we have a decent budget, then we can start to improve at the other end of the table. I took the job knowing that two and a half years ago and that is still the job - nothing has changed."
