Bradford striker Dean Windass wants to keep his options open, despite reports he is close to finalising a move to Third Division outfit Darlington.
The 35-year-old has been in talks with Quakers boss David Hodgson over a possible transfer, but Windass is still keen to discover what will happen to the Bantams, who are in administration and fighting for survival.
He told the club's official website: "I am leaving my options open for the time being. I don't really know what is happening at Bradford and there are a few other clubs who are interested.
"I would like to get into the coaching side of the game but we will have to wait and see."
