Walsall boss Paul Merson has expressed an interest in Bradford City goalkeeper Mark Paston.
Paston, who has a year to run on his Valley Parade contract, has been restricted by injury to just 14 appearances since arriving in Yorkshire last August.
In light of the Bantams' financial problems, all of Bradford's players were recently told they should look for other other clubs.
And Merson admits he would be interested in bring Paston to the Bescot.
"He comes for everything which is important, because although some teams try to play football in the Second Division they do try to get the ball forward early," Merson told the Express & Star.
