Two goals each from Gennady Bliznyuk and Sergey Kornilenko eased Belarus to a World Cup Group Six qualifying victory over Andorra in Grodno.
The victory kept the home side's hopes of qualification alive as they lie third in the table behind leaders England, 4-0 winners earlier in Kazakhstan, and second-placed Croatia.
It was a sixth loss in as many qualifying games for Andorra.
With a trip to England to face the group leaders at Wembley on Wednesday next up, things do not get any easier for the minnows.
Bliznyuk opened the scoring after two minutes and added his second after 76 minutes to put the home side 5-0 up.
Timofey Kalachev had put Belarus 2-0 up just before half-time and two goals from Kornilenko put the result beyond doubt.
Ildefons Lima scored a consolation for the visitors from the penalty spot four minutes into injury-time.
The home side opened the scoring when a cross from the right wing by Igor Shitov was headed into the top right corner of the goal by Bliznyuk.
Belarus were 2-0 ahead when Bliznyuk turned provider with a pass which set up Kalachev who shot into the bottom corner of the goal.
Kornilenko netted the third after being set up by fellow scorer Bliznyuk.
Kornilenko's second goal came when he shot from the left side of the area after the opening was created by Alexander Yurevich.
Bliznyuk and Kornilenko teamed up for the home side's final goal, this time Bliznyuk getting the final touch.
During a rare attack for the visitors Belarus conceded a late penalty.
Oscar Sonejee was fouled and Lima made no mistake from the penalty spot.
