  • Thanks for joining us tonight. Be sure to check back for a full match report, reaction from both sides and player ratings. See you all next week hopefully for the friendlies against Ecuador (Wednesday) and Honduras (Saturday) in Miami as the build-up to Brazil continues. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  • FT: The referee signals for full-time and England are 3-0 winners thanks to a superb first-half strike from Daniel Sturridge and second-half goals from Gary Cahill and Phil Jagielka, both following Leighton Baines corners. It was the perfect way to end World Cup preparations on home soil before Roy Hodgson takes his men to America on Sunday and, minus a few scares, the Three Lions looked pretty comfortable for the majority of the evening. 3-0!

  • Cahill stands firm to guide the ball out for a throw-in by the corner flag. England can break through Wilshere, who plays it out wide for Welbeck to chase. The striker does well to keep the ball in play but the move comes to nothing.

  • Four minutes have been added on at the end of this second half and it is Peru who come forward as some fans have started to filter out of Wembley.

  • England are not content just to wind down the clock as they look to come forward again. Peru clear from a corner before the ball rebounds off Milner and behind for a goalkick as he looks to burst into the area.

  • Daniel Sturridge is named the Vauxhall Man of the Match tonight which he deserved for the opening goal alone. Any fears of him not carrying his Liverpool form onto the international stage seem to have been allayed this evening.

  • There are just over 83,500 inside Wembley tonight which is pretty impressive for a Friday night. Peru make another change as Carrillo is replaced by Flores.

  • CHANCE! Welbeck steals the ball from Rodriguez and tees up Barkley. Unselfishly, the Everton man rolls the ball along for Sterling who is arriving inside the area but gets it all wrong as he side-foots well wide.

  • Peru are seeing a lot of the ball now, but mainly inside their own half as Barkley is chasing everything down. Wilshere gets a strong challenge in put the visitors regain possession.

  • Barkley is involved for the first time but is unable to keep his footing as Peru come away with the ball. Welbeck has another run forward but finds his path blocked off again.

  • Ross Barkley comes on in place of Daniel Sturridge for England.

  • There's a huge roar inside Wembley which suddenly grabs everyone's attention. It transpires that Peru's Hansell Riojas has been hit on the head by a paper plane from the crowd. Fortunately, he sees the funny side.

  • Johnson is calm as he brings the ball out of the area before spraying it wide to Milner on the right. Johnson is now playing at left back following Stones' introduction, with the Everton defender playing out on the right.

  • The tempo of the game, not helped by the waves of substitutions, is starting to slow down now as we approach the final 10 minutes. Peru are pushing forward and England are content for them just to knock the ball around for now.

  • Valarde replaces Advincula for Peru as they make another change.

  • Welbeck has been full of energy tonight, as you would expect from someone desperate to impress Hodgson, but he has often ran himself into trouble and does so again as Riojas steals it from him.

  • Roy Hodgson makes yet another change as John Stones comes on for his England debut, replacing Everton team-mate Leighton Baines.

  • Milner is found in space on the right and he cuts it back for Johnson before being fed inside the area as he looks to cross. Callens cuts in to get a block away and England have another corner.

  • Wilshere is clipped in the middle and England have a free-kick which he will play short. Welbeck comes deep before Sturridge picks the ball up out wide. Smalling works it back to Hart and England look to go again from the back.

  • England make a double change as Smalling and Milner come on in place of Jagielka and Lallana.
