  • Full time in Salvador, it's Spain 1-5 Netherlands! An outstanding second half from the Dutch, who put on a wonderful counter-attacking show. Who would have envisaged that? A breathtaking game, a breathtaking result and one that the Dutch will savour for many, many years. Thanks for joining me and I hope you enjoyed a magnificent Holland performance.

  • Pedro tries to work it into the Dutch box through a series of silky skills, but Vlaar and Martins Indi usher the Barcelona winger away and the ball is collected easily by Cillessen.

  • Spain look certain to score as the ball is squared to Torres, with Cellessen out of his goal. Torres only has to shimmy it past Blind and tap it in, but the full-back pulls out a heroic tackle to deny the Spaniard. Magnificent defending and completely representative of Holland's night thus far.

  • Four minutes of added time...

  • Another chance for Holland! Lens pulls the ball back to Sneijder, who's free in the box but he just can't get enough contact on it to take it past Casillas.

  • Huge cheers of ole as Holland keep the ball comfortably. Spain look absolutely shell-shocked....

  • Holland break again and Robben looks to release Lens, who's free in the box, but Ramos manages to block it. The ball falls to Sneijder, but the Spanish backline block another attempt.

  • DOUBLE CHANCE FOR HOLLAND! Wijnaldum picks up the ball in the box and only has Casillas to beat, but the Spaniard gets a good hand on it and the ball falls to Robben - who whacks it on the full volley and it's destined for the top corner...but Casillas produces a great save to deny Robben a hat-trick.

  • Spain have looked lightweight up front with Costa and Torres, and are failing to create any clear cut chances. The Dutch are toying with Spain as the ball is kept comfortably in defence.

  • Shots show the Spain players and staff look absolutely bewildered. It's been a devastating show of counter attacking football from Louis Van Gaal's men. Could it be possible that Spain fail to qualify from their group?

  • GOAL FOR HOLLAND! What an absolutely breathtaking goal that is. A ball is played beyond Ramos and Arjen Robben shows blistering pace to get beyond the defender and he twists and turns in the box, leaving Casillas floored and leaving the goal open. Robben fires into the top corner, and the Dutch have scored five!

  • Robin Van Persie comes off to a rapturous applause, and is replaced by Jeremain Lens.

  • Cesc Fabregas comes on for David Silva

  • Spain appeal for a penalty after Torres gets to the ball first and takes it past Vlaar, with the Chelsea striker falling down inside the area. Goal kick is given and Holland believe Torres went down far too easily.

  • Goalscorer De Vrij comes off for Joel Veltman.

  • Ramos whips a curling effort toward's Cillessen's bottom left corner, but the Ajax keeper has it covered and it narrowly misses the target.

  • Spain are awarded a free-kick 30 yards out, and Sergio Ramos is standing over the ball...

  • The Dutch fans are singing and dancing in the rain as Spain continue to keep possession in the midfield. So far, the counter attack has been hugely triumphant over the tiki-taka style.

  • Who would have predicted this? Despite Spain taking the lead, the Dutch have been absolutely rampant! A wonderfully unpredictable World Cup game

  • GOAL FOR HOLLAND! A catastrophic error from Casillas as he collects a backpass, but loses possession to Van Persie who taps it into an empty net. Horrendous error from the Spanish keeper, but Holland aren't complaining. It's 4-1!
