  • It's full-time here. 0-0 with chances few and far between. Thanks to all who have sent me comments. Cardiff leave the happier side, but Stoke will be disappointed after a series of missed opportunities.

  • Assaidi takes the ball past Theophile, but sums up the game by hitting his cross straight out of play.

  • Stoke are applying pressure on the Cardiff back-line, who are firmly camped in their own half.

  • GOOD SAVE! Declan John takes a shot from 25 yards and forces Begovic into a good save, with Stoke clearing for a corner. The resulting ball in is comfortably defended by the Potters.

  • 4 minutes of stoppage time.

  • Marshall palms away Adam's freekick, and Stephen Ireland sprints on to the loose ball but fires wide. Shots of Mark Hughes looking flabbergasted.

  • A long ball forward sees Arnautovic fouled at the edge of the box by Turner, who receives a yellow card and gives Stoke a great opportunity...

  • Adam weaves through the defence and has a great opportunity to hit it from long range. He obliges, and sends it wide. Frustration rings out from the home crowd.

  • Big chance as Crouch knocks down a long ball to Ireland, who plays it back to Arnautovic who can't hold the ball. Cardiff eventually clear.

  • After Arnautovic bursts into the box, the ball is cleared to Assaidi who calmly passes to Muniesa on the edge of the box, who leans back and smashes the ball over the bar.

  • Campbell, who is loudly booed by the Stoke fans, is replaced by Peter Odemwingie.

  • Assaidi pumps a ball into the box, and Theophile's clearance is met by Cameron, who fires high and wide.

  • Stephen Ireland goes to ground in the box and there's big appeals from the Britannia, but not one Stoke player questions Michael Oliver.

  • Assaidi does well to beat Theophile and looks set to shoot, but passes to Adam who curls it high and wide.

  • At the other end, Medel sends a great freekick into the Stoke box and after two attempts from Mutch and Cowie, the ball trickles wide.

  • After nice play from Stoke, Assaidi is given the freedom of the left wing, and crosses in to Crouch who nods over. Another decent choice for the Potters.

  • Muniesa whips in a brilliant ball from the left towards Crouch, who battles for the ball with Turner. Referee opts to award the foul against Crouch, to the disapproval of the home crowd who are venting their frustrations at Oliver's performance.

  • Glenn Whelan suffered a knock during his earlier clash with Whittingham and is replaced by Stephen Ireland.
