The Northern Irishman is back in full training after recovering from a shoulder injury which has kept him out for over a month.

Midfielder David Robertson may also be back in contention after playing for the Under-20s in midweek, following his recovery from a broken leg.

Hibernian boss Pat Fenlon has suffered two more injury setbacks after defender Ryan McGivern (knee) and midfielder Danny Handling (foot) were ruled out of Saturday's game.

The Easter Road boss is already without midfielders Alex Harris and Paul Cairney (both ankle), while the match at McDiarmid Park has come too soon for defenders James McPake (back) and Tim Clancy (groin), who are at least nearing a return to fitness.

However, Scotland midfielder Kevin Thomson does return to the Hibs squad after serving a two-match ban.
