  • FT: It's all over and Southampton are 4-2 winners. It was a formality for Pochettino's side for the majority of the game, with Scheiderlin, Lambert and Rodriguez giving them a comfortable lead. Late strikes from Elmander and Snodgrass threatened a Norwich comeback, but Sam Gallagher's first Premier League goal ended their hopes of a point. 4-2.

  • GOAL! Sam Gallagher scores for Southampton and kills off any hopes of a Norwich comeback after a swift break by Davis! 4-2.

  • Shaw hoists the ball out of the stadium as Norwich launch another attack. They continue to press with every red shirt camped inside their own half. Hughton is urging his men forward.

  • Lovren is forced to leave the field with injury so Southampton will play these final stages with 10 men if he can't return.

  • Southampton make their final change of the afternoon as Sam Gallagher replaces Jay Rodriguez who is in no hurry to leave the field.

  • Ruddy launches one long looking for Elmander. Tettey picks up the loose ball and Snodgrass then looks for the run of Redmond. The bounce of the ball just takes it away from the youngster and the move comes to nothing. Frustrating for Norwich.

  • Five minutes of added time to be played with Norwich throwing everything at it.

  • Norwich look to continue their wave of attacks but Howson stumbles as he looks to get a cross away and he slices it out for a goalkick.

  • Do Prado has gone into the book for dissent.

  • After a frantic few minutes, suddenly Norwich are back in it. They have Southampton to thank though, with both goals stemming from loose passes in defence. First it was Fonte who was guilty before do Prado lost out in the build up to Snodgrass' goal. This would be some comeback if they can pull it off with minutes remaining.

  • GOAL! Norwich have another and this time it's Snodgrass who fires past Boruc following more sloppy defending! 3-2!

  • GOAL! Norwich pull one back through Johan Elmander who capitalised on Fonte's poor back pass before slotting through the legs of Boruc! 3-1.

  • CHANCE! The Saints come close again and this time it's Lambert as Ruddy uses his legs to divert his effort behind after a smart ball through from Ward-Prowse. Expertly-timed run from Lambert.

  • CHANCE! Rodriguez is afforded far too much time on the edge of the area and he unleashes a powerful, dipping effort which rattles the bar with Ruddy well beaten. Wicked technique from the striker.

  • Yobo climbs to head clear Ward-Prowse's cross from a free-kick but Southampton continue to press through do Prado. Lambert's cross is just too heavy for Rodriguez though and Norwich clear.

  • Do Prado almost works his way into the area but the Norwich defence stands firm to clear. Southampton don't look like slowing things down here and Norwich are fading without a prayer.

  • Van Wolfswinkel pegs back Shaw and concedes a free-kick inside the Southampton half. The home fans serenade their young full-back with a chant of 'He's just too good for you.' He's certainly impressed again today in front of Hodgson.

  • Chris Hughton looks bemused in his technical area. His side have really lacked any kind of conviction whatsoever this afternoon and some of the away fans are starting to head for the exits.

  • Delight for Mauricio Pochettino on the touchline as his two substitutes were involved in that third goal. First, do Prado worked an opening before forcing Ruddy into a smart save, but the rebound fell to Lambert who could have shot. Instead, he just laid it off for Rodriguez who applied the simple finish.
