  • Wolves 1 Norwich 0. Kenny Jackett's men off to a winning start. Olsson's red card was key and Norwich will be frustrated to leave with nothing.

  • Henry carries the ball a long way. Tries too much in the end as he is halted by a fine challenge from Turner on the edge of the box. No Norwich counter. Wolves can push again, but Clarke takes too long to get the ball out of his feet with a runner to his right.

  • Jacobs concedes a free-kick in midfield. Ruddy out to take it, with Norwich pushing men forward. Long ball into the box, nodded down by Batth. Norwich return it to the area, but Grabban can't get a telling touch eight yards out. Not alert enough to the ball coming his way.

  • Martin hacks over his shoulder. Second ball keeps dropping to Wolves. They string a few passes together and run the clock down further.

  • Jacobs happy to hammer down field. Clarke unable to gather, but bounces back to his feet and is picked out down the middle. He looks to turn past Garrido, but runs the ball into the Norwich defender.

  • Clarke bundles into Martin, who grabs the ball as he goes down. Decision goes Wolves' way. Martin not happy with the decision and gives Simon Hooper a mouthful. He is booked for his troubles.

  • Five minutes of stoppage-time to be played.

  • Space for Henry in the middle of the park. He wastes it as he clips over the top when Jacobs was running across the back four. Ball runs through to Ruddy.

  • Wolves play a free-kick inside their own half short. Hosts playing the clock now. Ikeme then fires long and Clarke wins a throw off Turner. Norwich can't get on the ball.

  • Clarke fed in with his first touch. Never looks happy and ends up taking a touch across himself from 10 yards out. He is forced wide and Norwich have two defenders flying back at him. Low shot is prodded wide of the target.

  • Henry to the by-line, but digging a cross beyond those in the middle. Wolves try again from the left. Golbourne with a clever flick into Jacobs, but the flag is up again. Final change for Wolves sees Clarke replace Dicko.

  • Flag up against Dicko, who can't beat Ruddy anyway. Van La Parra taking a well-earned break on the bench. Debutant looked very impressive. All bodes well for Wolves as an attacking unit if they can get everyone to click.

  • Jacobs finds acres of space on the left. He can gather and then drift inside onto his right foot. A wayward shot from 20 yards out is sliced well wide. Another Wolves change as Van La Parra makes way for Henry.

  • Free-kick to Norwich close to halfway. Ball looped forward. Ikeme can watch it coming from a long way out and comes through the crowd to gather. Wolves in no rush to counter.

  • Van La Parra down and Garrido is booked for a late challenge in the build-up to the last move. Ruddy didn't put the ball out for the Wolves winger to get treatment, so referee Simon Hooper has little choice but to stop play.

  • Van La Parra with another cross that flicks off Garrido. Composed defending in the middle from Martin as he nods back to Ruddy. Norwich soon on the back foot again. McDonald crosses from the right, but the ball breaks kindly for Ruddy.

  • Sako given a breather after an impressive display. Jacobs sent on in his place to see things out. Sako has shown again that he is a real force to be reckoned with in the Football League.

  • Garrido dived in on Dicko and allowed the Wolves man to get away. His pass to Sako was poor, forcing him to check his run, but Ruddy still did well to get down and palm his shot away. At the other end, Johnson fires well off target.

  • Set-piece sent to the near post. Turner up with Batth and the ball is glanced on and behind for another corner. Bennett tries again. Second delivery is met by Stearman. Wolves counter at pace. Dicko runs away from Norwich and has Sako in support. Square pass to him isn't the best and his shot from 12 yards is blocked.

  • Van La Parra to the corner flag. His cross flicks up off Garrido, but onto the head of Turner. Norwich can break. Redmond out to the left and cutting inside. He feeds into Lafferty, who turns round the corner for Grabban. Ikeme out quickly to dive at the striker's feet and bundle behind for a corner.
