  • The full-time whistle goes and there is to be no winner, but the two teams will have very different emotions after a dramatic encounter. Everton looked in control at 2-0 but two late goals from Arsenal have rescued a 2-2 draw and left Goodison Park stunned.

  • Is there time for Arsenal to snatch an unlikely win? Wenger certainly seems to think so on the touchline as Cazorla stings the palms of Howard from 20 yards.

  • GOAL! Giroud levels it for Arsenal. Ramsey's cross from the right is too deep but Monreal keeps it in and whips in a much better delivery, which Giroud buries with an excellent header.

  • Naismith does well to hold the ball up for Everton and induce a foul from Cazorla in the Arsenal half, relieving the pressure for the hosts.

  • Everton have looked comfortable for most of the evening but suddenly there is a spring in Arsenal's step as they search for an equaliser.

  • Everton's third and final change sees Atsu come on for Mirallas.

  • GOAL! Ramsey gives Arsenal a lifeline. Cazorla is the provider with a good low cross from the left and the Welsh midfielder shows great determination to get to the ball before a couple of defenders and turn it in from close range.

  • Ozil has not had a particularly good day and his latest cross from the left is neatly cleared by Barry.

  • Campbell looks very eager to impress he runs into traffic as he tries to dribble into the Everton area.

  • Ramsey slices an ambitious shot well wide from 20 yards but that is a rare effort on goal from Arsenal, with Everton good value for their lead and in truth looking the most likely to score next.

  • Mertesacker may not be the quickest but he is able to stretch out a long leg to knock the ball out of play before Coleman can cut inside from the right.

  • Flamini dives in on Naismith and it is a poor challenge which rightly sees him given a yellow card.

  • McGeady is in business straight away as he links up with Naismith, who ends up hitting a rasping shot high into the stands.

  • Lukaku, who had reportedly been a fitness doubt before kick-off, receives a tremendous ovation as he makes way for McGeady.

  • Arsenal make a double change as Cazorla and Campbell are sent on to replace Oxlade-Chamberlain and Wilshere.

  • Coleman jinks his way past Monreal before delivering a decent cross from the right, but Debuchy heads it away.

  • Barry bursts forward on an excellent run before cutting back a very menacing cross, but Ramsey shows good strength to get the ball before Mirallas can pull the trigger.

  • Lukaku is running riot down Everton's right but Mertesacker manages to get back and block his shot from a tight angle.

  • Howard is forced into his first save of the match as he comes out to smother a Giroud shot. The game is really becoming stretched now.

  • Lukaku shows his strength to break free down the Arsenal right in a manner reminiscent of Everton's second goal, but on this occasion he dwells on the ball too long and eventually tries a needless back-heel which is blocked.
