  • Thank you very much for joining me this evening. You can reflect on tonight's events with our match report and reaction on the Sky Sports website. You can keep in touch with me via @BH92. Once again, thanks for joining me.

  • I think the man-of-the-match accolade has to go to Arjen Robben. The enigmatic winger posed a constant threat to the Arsenal defence, knowing when to stay out wide and when to cut inside. Excellent display.

  • It's all over at the Emirates Stadium. Just like last year, Bayern Munich leave North London with a two-goal lead. Goals from Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller. Full time in this last-16 first leg, Arsenal 0-2 Bayern Munich.

  • Bayern simply retain possession and wait for the full-time whistle.

  • Kroos opts to strike low and hard this time, Fabianski is beaten but the post comes to his rescue.

  • Bayern take a short corner and Gotze strikes from distance. Arsenal on the racks here. Full time cannot come quick enough!

  • Pizarro could have really turned the screw as he found space in the box before running out of touch.

  • GOAL! THOMAS MULLER! Three minutes from time, Arsenal are breached again. The German striker heads home the elusive second after making a fine run to meet Lahm's cross from the right.

  • Koscielny wins a free-kick for Arsenal on the halfway line, much to the delight of the Emirates faithful. The set-piece is wasted by Arsenal and Bayern launch the counter attack.

  • Alaba takes the free-kick short and Bayern look to pass their way into the Arsenal box, unsuccessfully.

  • More one-way traffic as Bayern nonchalantly make their way into Arsenal territory before Tomas Rosicky is booked for running into Kroos.

  • Alaba and Kroos toying with the Arsenal defence once again down the left flank.

  • A rare charge from Arsenal is quickly broken down by a composed Neuer, who no matter how unused, always remains confident. He has been brilliant tonight, although called on little.

  • Bayern unable to use their set-piece but again they come at Arsenal, who must be applauded for their effort, there has been a lot of chasing!

  • Robben dances his way into the Arsenal box and wins a corner for the visitors. Arsenal cannot afford to switch off for a second here.

  • Gotze brings it down the left before cutting inside to cross to the back post, where Fabianski collects with ease.

  • Pep Guardiola definitely chasing a second, maybe even more, goals to try and put the tie to bed early.

  • Another striker sent on for Bayern. Peruvian Claudio Pizarro comes on in place of Thiago Alcantara.

  • Thiago leads the Bayern charge as wave upon wave they test the Arsenal defence.

  • Bayern passing around with plenty of panache and zest, while Arsenal look laboured as they try and close the visitors down.
