Stoke boss Mark Hughes has confirmed his intention to once again ring the changes in the Capital One Cup, with his side facing Sky Bet League One outfit Tranmere away in the third round on Wednesday night.

Hughes made eight adjustments to his starting line-up for the second-round home 3-1 victory over third-tier Walsall and there looks set to be another considerable reshuffle from Sunday's Barclays Premier League defeat at Arsenal.
Striker Kenwyne Jones scored a hat-trick in the Walsall game after being promoted to the first XI for it and, having also started all three of Stoke's
matches since, may be rested on this occasion.
Tranmere's 40-year-old defender Ian Goodison will be rested for the match.
Boss Ronnie Moore has emphasised the importance of improving Rovers' fortunes in the league and therefore thinks Goodison is best kept in reserve ahead of the visit of Port Vale on Saturday.
Moore will also be without the equally experienced Jason Koumas, the midfielder still struggling with a groin problem, Andy Robinson (groin), Jake Kirby (ankle) and James Wallace (knee).
The latter has been out of action since December 1 and suffered another setback which means the Rovers captain is unlikely to be back in training for another couple of weeks.
