  • Swansea are through to the last 32 of the Europa League after producing arguably their most ineffective performance of the group stages as they lost 1-0 to St Gallen. Keeper Gerhard Tremmel made two one-on-one saves and Jose Canas clared off the line as the Swiss side pressed after the break. They deservedly took the lead through Marco Mathys, but with Kuban only managing a draw in Valencia Swansea progressed despite having not won any of their last four games in the competition.

  • Late chance for the Swans sees Hernandez turn in the box but his low shot is saved by the home keeper.

  • We will have a minimum of three minutes added time as Swansea look to shakily seal their place in the last 32.

  • Williams concedes a free-kick just outside the box after a foul on Keita but Taylor heads clear.

  • Canas is booked for dissent after disputing the award of a free-kick.

  • St Gallen goalscorer Mathys is replaced by Marco Franin.

  • Swansea have a corner but Pozuelo's kick is headed wide by Williams.

  • Pozuelo's clever pass puts in Hernandez and he cleverly beats his man but drags his shot wide from just inside the box.

  • Kuban are now level in Spain and we could have an anxious few minutes now ...

  • It's not too much of a disaster for the Swans because of that scoreline in Valencia, but Michael Laudrup will be unhappy with their second-half display.

  • Keita looked offside in the build-up to the St Gallen goal but it is no more than the home side deserve for their second-half display.

  • Lenjani is booked for a foul.

  • Swansea caught out by a quickly-taken free-kick and Mathys stabs home a cross by Mutsch from close range.

  • GOAL! Mathys gives St Gallen the lead.

  • Tremmel is again called into action as he pushes away a low cross from Mathys that had deflected off Williams.

  • The hosts have a corner taken by Janjatovic but hero of the hour Tremmel makes a crucial catch.

  • Swansea's final change sees Bony replaced by Pablo Hernandez.

  • Credit to St Gallen who have certainly done all they can to win a game that has no significance for them.

  • The fog is descending once again as Swansea finally manage to string some passes together after an eventful last 10 minutes.

  • Swansea must switch back on and see this game out - just in case something strange does happen.
