  • Sunderland 1 Swansea 3. All over and the visitors take the spoils. The curtain comes down on the 2013/14 campaign.

  • Home support appear to be planning their post-match celebrations. They have been told to stay off the pitch so the players can do a lap of honour, but whether they do or not might be a different matter.

  • Swansea playing everything short, before back to Tremmel. Game over now. Sunderland have run out of time. They concede another throw, with Ba nipping in.

  • Big penalty shout. Altidore controls on his chest inside the box but is prevented friom getting a shot away by two white shirts. Bartley the man to get his foot around Altidore and poke clear. Great challenge.

  • Three minutes of stoppage-time to be played.

  • Keep-ball from Swansea, frustrating the hosts. Eventually Sunderland win a throw. They hardly hurry to get the ball forward. Altidore goes left to Johnson, but his cross can't find its target.

  • Wayward by Vergini as he hacks up into the air and then has to dig himself out of a hole by conceding a throw. Swansea right where they want to be.

  • Dyer wins a throw down the Swansea right. Seeing images of Ellis Short - who is here - today not looking too amused. Sunderland's owner would have been hoping for better given their recent run of form.

  • Another free-kick to Swansea. Another opportunity to eat away at the clock. Promising position rather wasted as Taylor floats a cross beyond Bony.

  • Swansea take a free-kick wide on their right short. They work the ball to Dyer, who drills flat towards the front post. An acrobatic attempt from De Guzman sees him swing at fresh air.

  • Sunderland trying too hard at times, looking to force the issue. Another card isn't going to help their cause as Bridcutt is cautioned for hacking down Dyer.

  • Last roll of the dice by Poyet as he sends on Altidore - a striker - in place of O'Shea - a centre-half. Can Sunderland work him an opening? Altidore's first touch sees him fizz a 25-yard effort narrowly wide.

  • Home support as Vergini is shown a yellow card for a high boot. Tough call as the ball was there to be won. Free-kick taken short to Shelvey. His clipped centre is nodded away around the penalty spot.

  • De Guzman flicks into Bony 25 yards from goal. His first touch is good and allows him to shift the ball onto his left foot. A curling shot never has enough height on it to trouble Mannone.

  • Borini tries a Drogba/Ronaldo-esque run up as he strikes the middle of the ball. His effort goes up and over the wall, but is never coming back down in time. Ball in the stands once again.

  • Colback sent tumbling by Bartley 30 yards from goal, as he came charging through the back of the Sunderland man. Promising position again for the hosts.

  • Swansea still happy to sit and let Sunderland play their way forward. Home side have a little over 10 minutes in which to find two goals.

  • O'Shea down and receiving some treatment. Bridcutt over on the touchline getting some instructions from Poyet. O'Shea might be struggling, but is soon back with us.

  • Too much football in the end by Sunderland as a pass intneded for Borini runs through for Tremmel to slide out and gather. Swansea go from back to front quickly. Routledge racing into space, but the ball skids away from him and behind. He's quick, but not that quick.

  • Davies introduced in place of Tiendalli in Swansea's final change. Sunderland have a free-kick inside the visiting half, but make nothing of it. They are, however, able to remain on the front foot.
