  • That's all from me this afternoon, thank you very much for joining me, it has been a pleasure. If you haven't seen Alex Tettey's wonder-goal, make sure you catch the highlights this evening. You can keep in touch with me via Twitter on @BH92. Once again, thanks for joining me and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  • Handing the Man of the Match accolade to Robert Snodgrass. Broke the deadlock with a composed strike and was influential throughout, toying with Marcos Alonso on the right flank, often getting the better of the Sunderland full-back.

  • It's all over at Carrow Road. Phil Dowd blows the full time whistle and Norwich take all three points, thanks to first-half goals from Robert Snodgrass and Alex Tettey.

  • Final minute of stoppage time and Norwich are in no rush to take their free kick deep in Sunderland territory.

  • Larsson's corner is repelled by Norwich and Marcos Alonso is shown a second yellow card for a handball in the box. He has been naive all afternoon and pays the price late on.

  • Alonso comes down the left wing and looks to get the cross in, but Yobo clears excellently for a Sunderland corner.

  • Norwich content to simply retain possession in the closing stages as Ruddy takes his time with a goal kick.

  • Final change from Hughton sees Wes Hoolhan - who receives a great ovation from the home faithful - replaced by Nathan Redmond.

  • Second change for Norwich sees Johan Elmander replaced by Bradley Johnson as Hughton looks to sure up the midfield.

  • Ball is finally brought forward by Sunderland, but the subsequent cross is collected and cleared by Bassong.

  • Sunderland rather nonchalantly passing across the back four, despite only having five minutes to turn this one around.

  • Hooper concedes a free kick on the halfway line, which Sunderland drive towards Altidore, only for Bassong to block the striker's attempt.

  • Snodgrass settles himself and produces a stinging effort on goal, which goes just over the crossbar. Excellent dipping strike from the Norwich playmaker.

  • Elmander holds up play well from the corner and then Larsson clips the heels of Hooper just outside the box. Free kick in a good position for Norwich.

  • Bassong sells Alonso the dummy as he advances on the right wing and wins the corner for Norwich.

  • Phil Bardsley pushes Hoolahan and gets booked for his efforts. It was an unnecessary foul as Hoolahan had nowhere to go.

  • Cattermole slides in and wins the ball from Howson, but the Sunderland midfielder has injured himself in the process. Takes a few seconds but he is back to his feet and ready to continue.

  • Hughton is remonstrating on the touchline as Bassong is found in a centre forward position rather than defence. Not quite the standard method to defend a two-goal lead. Borini races after Cattermole's long ball and slides into Ruddy, nothing more than a coming together.

  • Marcos Alonso was booked for the previous challenge on Snodgrass. Sunderland clear their lines well from the free kick, which was taken short by Snodgrass.

  • Snodgrass is on the winning side of the free kick this time as he gets the better of Alonso down the right wing.
