  • Steven Pienaar's delightful finish - just 10 seconds after coming on as a second half substitute - proved to be the winner as Everton returned to winning ways thanks to a 2-1 success against Hull at Goodison Park. With perfect timing, the South Africa international on his return from injury, cushioned Kevin Mirallas' low cross into the far corner with his first touch to seal all three points. It took the just eight minutes for the hosts to break the deadlock as Mirallas opened the scoring in controversial fashion. His speculative shot from the edge of the area travelled through a couple of legs before deceiving goalkeeper Allan McGregor at his near post for his first top flight goal of the season. However, Gareth Barry looked have got the slightest of touches on the ball whilst standing in an offside position when Mirallas struck his shot. The visitors deservedly restored parity though on the half hour mark as substitute Yannick Sagbo swept the ball past Tim Howard after great work down the right by the impressive Sone Aluko. Pienaar's winner just before the hour mark ended the Tigers' four-match unbeaten run as the Toffees moved up to fifth spot in the Premier League standings.

  • Leighton Baines is shown a yellow card for simulation in the box.

    90+3
  • A mixture of sun and rain now. We're just missing the rainbow on Merseyside as the home side happily keep possession for these final few minutes. Hull look a beaten team!

    90+2
  • There will be FOUR added minutes of stoppage time at Goodison Park as rain pours down again.

    90
  • Steven Pienaar's delivery is cleared and then Robbie Brady hands Everton a soft free-kick on halfway.

    89
  • Coleman gets away from George Boyd and now Leighton Baines runs into Ahmed Elmohamady.

    87
  • With the clock ticking down, Hull are throwing players forward in attack. Seamus Coleman earns his side a free-kick to calm the situation.

    86
  • Hull's next fixture is against Tottenham at White Hart Lane, so it's not going to get any easier for them.

    84
  • Kevin Mirallas picks out Seamus Coleman but Curtis Davies is in the way again. What a game the former West Brom and Aston Villa man has had today. He'll be unlucky to finish on the losing side if things stay this way.

    82
  • Ross Barkley, who has had a quiet afternoon, is replaced by Steven Naismith for the final few minutes.

  • Suddenly the game has become very stretched at Goodison Park.

    79
  • OFF THE POST!! Ross Barkley sets up substitute Arouna Kone in the box. He cuts inside before curling his shot against the far post, but in all honesty he just have buried the chance.

    78
  • Hull are suddenly coming on strong, but Jake Livermore's attempted cross is plucked out of the air by Tim Howard.

    77
  • No side has currently gone longer without losing at home in the Premier League than Everton (12 games - W9 D3).

    75
  • Stephen Quinn comes on for Sone Aluko as Steve Bruce makes his final change of the afternoon.

  • I'm not 100 per cent sure Yannick Sagbo was shown a card after that challenge, but play continues.

    72
  • Phil Jagielka is in need of some medical attention, but is soon back on his feet.

    71
  • Yannick Sagbo crunches into Phil Jagielka with his studs showing. That was a reckless challenge!

    70
  • And Everton make a change as Romelu Lukaku, who has struggled this afternoon, is replaced by Arouna Kone.
