Defender Tim Clancy is a doubt as Hibernian aim to go top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League with victory over St Mirren on Saturday.

The right-back has taken a limited part in training since last Friday's win at Motherwell when he returned from a groin injury and Alan Maybury is on standby.

Midfielder Gary Deegan (fractured jaw) remains out.

St Mirren manager Danny Lennon has no fresh injury concerns.

Lennon's men came through 120 minutes of action in their cup win at Aberdeen on Tuesday unscathed.

Long-term absentees Paul McGowan, Darren McGregor and Grant Adam remain on the sidelines.
