  • Liverpool 4 Fulham 0. All over at Anfield and the hosts run out comprehensive winners. Welcome boost for Liverpool, Fulham will be heading back to the drawing board.

  • The scoreline now reflects Liverpool's dominance. It has been a bad day at the office for Fulham and Martin Jol. They have much work to do if this is to be a Merry Christmas. Rodallega chasing one last hopeful punt forward, but Reina comes out of his box to clear.

  • GOAL LIVERPOOL - SUAREZ. The Liverpool striker gets his goal. Enrique breaks to the dead-ball line, following a short corner. He pulls the ball back for Suarez to sweep into the bottom corner.

  • Free-kick to Fulham 25 yards from goal. Rodallega over it. Decent effort which hits the frame of the goal. The post is rattled and the ball cannons back onto Reina, and away. Not Fulham's day.

  • There will be three minutes of stoppage time.

  • Dejagah wins a late corner. Karagounis trots over to take. His delivery is headed clear at the near post by Johnson. Nothing doing for Fulham.

  • Clock ticking down and both sides appear to have had enough. They want to get out of here and enjoy their Christmas. Don't blame them, this result was wrapped up a long time ago.

  • One-two between Sterling and Suarez, but Fulham have numbers back. They look to spring forward once in possession, but a Riise pass towards Berbatov is cut out by Johnson. Allen then hacks a Frei cross to safety.

  • Gerrard over the corner, but Agger can't connect with the delivery. Sterling sends the ball back into the Fulham box, but the Cottagers are able to clear their lines.

  • Suarez wants a goal and makes sure he is over the free-kick. He is made to wait for his moment as Mark Clattenburg forces him to alter the placing of the ball. The effort, when it finally arrives, forces Schwarzer into a decent save diving away to his left.

  • Rodallega does well with his back to goal to move the ball into the path of a team-mate. Frei can't get onto the end of a flicked pass. Liverpool counter and Karagounis clatters into Sterling. He sees yellow.

  • Riether as far forward as he has been all evening. His cross to the near post is dealt with by Agger. Berbatov back on the ball, spraying it wide to Riether again. His second delivery goes the same way as the first.

  • Carragher on in place of Lucas. Is he going to slip into a midfield holding role? Final change by Rodgers.

  • Berbatov pointing where he wants to team-mates to go. They don't seem keen to follow his orders. Frei takes over, bursting past Johnson, but his poked cross is cut out.

  • Berbatov involved again for Fulham. Liverpool with a solid back of four in front of their goalkeeper. The Cottagers work the ball well, with Berbatov able to drift into space. Once again he fires straight at Reina.

  • Liverpool standing off Fulham a bit more now. That allows Berbatov to drift goalwards. From 20 yards out he tries to hit the ball with the outside of his boot, but doesn't make the best of connections and Reina makes a comfortable save.

  • Marking all over the place again from the set-piece. Johnson allowed to run across the box without being picked up and Gerrard was all alone. Suarez now comes close to a fourth. He slips through three tackles, but is halted by a brave dive at his feet by Schwarzer.

  • Dejagah dives into a challenge on Enrique. He was never going to win the ball coming in from the side and is rightly shown a yellow card. Suarez takes the free-kick, which works its way to Gerrard. He sees an effort from close range blocked by the legs of Schwarzer.

  • Schwarzer given a dodgy back-pass from Riether. He does well to deal with a bouncing ball and volley upfield. Sums up Fulham, as they have struggled with the basics throughout.

  • Baird over a free-kick for Fulham. He whips the ball into the heart of the penalty area, but a red shirt is able to rise highest through a crowd of bodies. Liverpool take the opportunity to slow things down again.
