Our Nick Hext is backing Burton to win on the road at Morecambe in npower League Two this weekend.

Burton: Backed for victory over Morecambe

Morecambe finally ended their long wait for a home win when they defeated Chesterfield 2-0 on Tuesday night.

The Shrimps had failed to win at the Globe Arena since March as they took on a nine-game run without success on their own turf.

Boss Jim Bentley now hopes his side can go on a prolonged run of success at home but we reckon Burton will be able to come away with the spoils on Saturday.

The Brewers head north on an unbeaten run of six League Two games and they have picked up two wins on the road during that time - the latest coming on Tuesday night at Southend.

Manager Gary Rowett admits his side were fortunate to claim all three points against the 10-man Shrimpers at Roots Hall but he certainly wasn't complaining.

"I thought Southend were absolutely terrific and in all fairness, I would have shook their hands and said 0-0 was the least they deserved really," he told BBC Radio Derby.

"Overall, you'll normally get what you deserve, but today we probably got a little bit more than we deserved. The performance was poor, but we'll take those three points gratefully."

Burton will provide plenty of excitement over the campaign with a goal threat from a plethora of attacking options and we reckon they will enjoy success on Saturday.

The 15/8 available for the away win is a price we have to take.
