Sodje heads out of Preston

The former Sheffield Wednesday striker had been on a series of short-term contracts since his arrival at the club in August and was offered a further deal until the middle of January.

But Sodje opted not to extend his stay and will leave the club when his current deal expires on Friday, December 14.

Due to the transfer window, Sodje will now not be able to sign for any other club until after the next window opens on January 1 2013.
