Wales boss John Toshack maintains he's just as keen to see teenage midfielder Jack Collison perform on the international stage as he is 17-year-old Aaron Ramsey.
West Ham's Collison will make only his second start for Wales against Denmark here, alongside debut boy Ramsey, the pair having been promoted together from the under-21s.
Toshack says: "A lot is being made of young Ramsey making his debut, but there have been a lot of youngsters who have done that for Wales in recent years.
"And I believe that Collison can also make a big impact. He is getting the chance of regular football at West Ham, and I am just looking forward to seeing so many of our young players on the pitch together.
"They have brought a level of enthusiasm with them. When I watch them in training there is a real zip about them, what they lack in experience they make up with enthusiasm.
"This time it is Ramsey making his debut, and he is a really interesting player. But around him there is the likes of Ched Evans, who has done really well to hang on to his place at Manchester City.
"He is in a difficult environment there, with so many expensive strikers. But I know City do not want to send him out on loan, they want him around their squad and he has benefited from that."
He added: I'm excited about the game, I know there are areas where we will have trouble but once the game is over we will know a lot more about all of them.
"Irrespective of the result we will have learned a little bit more again, and the average age of the side that goes out will be around 22 and one of the youngest in history.
"And I am looking forward to seeing how they cope with the difficulties.
"You can understand the excitement about Ramsey because he is an interesting talent, but we have said that about lots of players and for one reason or another it doesn't happen, so we want to take some of the pressure off.
"But he looks happy and we are happy with him. He is amongst friends here, people he knows and has played with and sometimes perhaps we worry about them too much.
"Yes, we want them to have a feel for football at this level and we would like to think they are ready and that they will stay with us."
Toshack will bring in Hull keeper Boaz Myhill, and use Ashley Williams, James Collins and Nyatanga in the centre of defence, with Chris Gunter and Gareth Bale as full-backs.
David Edwards and Collison will play holding midfield roles with Ramsey working behind Evans and Bellamy.
