Northern Ireland Under-21s manager Steve Beaglehole has warned some of his players they will not wear the shirt again.
Beaglehole was appalled at the way his side caved in and lost 6-2 to Iceland in a European Championship qualifier at Coleraine's Showgrounds.
Substitute Josh Magennis scored twice, but that could not stop the Leicester coach from criticising his team.
Beaglehole said: "We had too many out there tonight that did not really want to do it. They wanted to play it their way, and not the way I wanted them to play.
"They've had their chances, and if I get the chance to put that right I will. There won't be too many of them who will play at under-21s level again.
"There is a weakness in certain individuals in the group. I have seen it develop in training when players do not give a lot for the whole of the training session. When it gets hard, they jack it in. You can't have that."
Northern Ireland were 4-0 down at half time, and Beaglehole added: "I could not believe it. It was a major shock to see what was unfolding in front of my eyes.
"We have competed well against good sides in the past. We will have a long look at this game to see where we go from here."
