RULES

  • Teams receive three points for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a defeat.

  • If two or more teams finish equal on points the winner of the match between the two will finish higher.

  • If two or more teams are still equal, then the team with the better goal difference in the game between the two will finish higher.

  • If more than two teams are still equal then the higher finishers will be the teams with the greater number of goals scored in the matches between the teams in question.

  • If two or more teams are still equal, then the team with the better goal difference across all group matches will finish higher.

  • If two ore more teams are still equal, then the team scoring most goals across all group matches will finish higher.

  • If two more more teams are still equal, the higher finisher will be decided by the coefficient of points from the last two qualifying campaigns for the final rounds of the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 (points gained divided by the number of matches played).

  • If two or more teams are still equal, the higher finisher will be determined by the Fair Play conduct of the teams.

  • If two or more teams are still equal, the higher finisher will be determined by the drawing of lots by the Committee.
