Teams receive three points for a win, one point for a draw and no
points for a defeat.
The club finishing top will automatically be promoted to League Two. The teams finished second, third, fourth and fifth will play-off for the second promotion place.
If two teams finish level on points, the team finishing higher will
be the one with the best goal difference. If the teams are still level
the team with the most goals scored will finish higher. If the two teams
are still level and a promotion/relegation place is at stake they will
play off on a neutral ground.
The bottom teams, up to a maximum of four, will be considered to
be in a relegation position. The number of clubs eventually relegated
will depend on the number of clubs eligible for promotion to the
Blue Square Premier or wishing to be promoted to the Blue Square Premier.
