Position: Midfielder
Born: 09.06.84
Club: Ajax

Sneijder is a rising star in the Dutch side and has received widespread praise since his introduction to the national team's midfield.

Despite his slight frame, Sneijder is deceptively strong on the ball and can open up the game with his excellent passing range.

He was a driving force in the 6-0 win over Scotland and demonstrated his free-kick expertise by setting up two goals from dead-ball situations.

He came through the Ajax youth system and still plies his trade for the Dutch club.

Having made the step up from the Holland Under-21 side, Sneijder should be a star of the future.
