Traianos Dellas headed a dramatic silver goal for Greece to put the underdogs in Sunday's Euro 2004 final with hosts Portugal after a 1-0 victory over the much-fancied Czech Republic in Porto.
With just seconds to go in the first period of extra time, Dellas stooped to head Vassilios Tsiartas' right-wing corner in at the near post to the joy of the Greek supporters.
The game had finished goalless after 90 minutes with the Czechs coming closest to scoring through two Marek Jankulovski efforts which were saved and a thunderous volley from Tomas Rosicky just three minutes in which cannoned back off the bar.
Pavel Nedved had to hobble off in the first half and despite a Czech onslaught, the Greeks hung in there and got their reward - a final clash with Portugal; a repeat of the opening game of the tournament.
