46 mins: Holland get the match back under way with Seedorf playing the ball back to Cocu. Holland retain possession as they push down the left, Robben's cross is a good one but Van Nistelrooy heads over when he should have found the target.

45 mins: It's half-time on the Algarve and both teams go into the interval all square. There were no clear chances for either sides and Robben's shot that was saved by Isaksson is the closest either team has come to scoring.
45 mins: Svensson hits a shot from distance but it is straight at the Dutch goalkeeper who holds on with ease.
45 mins: Ostlund is down injured after getting Van Nistelrooy's boot in his face. The striker clips him accidentally and the defender is quickly up and ready to get on with the game.
44 mins: Van Bronckhorst wins a free-kick on the right but the cross from the touchline is sliced out for a goal-kick.
43 mins: Holland win a free-kick close to Sweden's area but their poor use of dead-balls continues and Mellberg heads clear.
42 mins: Van Nistelrooy looks for a penalty but it was him who was fouling Ostlund. Sweden's counterattack goes down the right and Jonson's cutback finds Svensson whose drilled shot bounces off Bouma and away.
41 mins: Van der Meyde bundles his way past Jonson but the ball bounces away to Davids who drives to the touchline and curls a deep cross out for a throw-in.
40 mins: Jakobsson takes a free-kick on half-way but it is too high for Larsson who can only watch it fly behind for a goal-kick.
39 mins: Van der Meyde's cross is blocked by Larsson and the ball bounces out to Davids. The midfielder tries to slip a pass in for Seedorf but it is too long and runs out for a goal-kick.
38 mins: Holland eventually win a corner but the delivery is once again disappointing.

35 mins: De Boer is roundly booed by the Swedish fans as he limps off having not recovered from the horrible tackle he made on Ljungberg. He is replaced by Wilfred Bouma while Cocu is handed the captain's armband.

33 mins: Both keepers make errors that they escape with. First Van der Sar comes out for Svensson's header, missing his punch as the ball crashes off Jonson's back. Then on the break Cocu's hammered shot is punched at waist height by Isaksson and the ball loops behind for a corner.
32 mins: Jakobsson drills the free-kick in and the ball clips the head of Cocu before flying over the bar.
31 mins: The free-kick is under 25 yards from the Dutch goal. There is a slight delay while the referee settles the wall.
30 mins: Frank de Boer thunders high into the legs of Freddie Ljungberg and is swiftly punished by the referee who hands out the first caution of the match. Both the guilty party and the victim receive treatment but look fine to continue.
29 mins: Ljungberg wins a corner off Davids' knee but Svensson's cross is headed wide of the Dutch goal by Larsson.
28 mins: Robben is cornered by two Swedish defenders but somehow manages to deliver a flawless cross that is headed down by Van der Meyde. Jakobsson clears before Van Nistelrooy can pounce.
27 mins: The ball flows to Robben who plays it to Van Nistelrooy whose back is to goal. The striker taps it back to Reiziger who fails to get a good connection on his shot and it screws wide.
26 mins: Holland get back on the ball with De Boer playing a short pass out to the right.
25 mins: Larsson steers the ball round the wall but also around the post as Van der Sar watches it float harmlessly wide.
24 mins: Svensson's corner is poor but Ljungberg wins a free-kick within shooting distance when he is tugged down by Van Bronckhorst.
23 mins: Ibrahimovic wins a free-kick in the centre of the pitch. It's played to Jonson down the right who wins a corner after his cross deflects behind off Van Bronckhorst.
22 mins: Holland make no use of the free-kick and Isaksson begins a period of possession that sees all but two of Sweden's players touch the ball. A ball through from Ljungberg to Larsson is too fast and Van der Sar claims.
21 mins: Mikael Nilsson is played in down the left flank, his cross is too long for Larsson and Jonson brings down Davids as he fights for the loose ball.
