MANSET BACK FOR SHREWS SHOWDOWN

Shrewsbury 6/4 Hereford 7/4 Draw 12/5

Hereford manager John Trewick welcomes back Mathieu Manset from suspension for Tuesday night's League Two derby clash at home to Shrewsbury.

Saturday's last-gasp 3-2 defeat at Burton was the final game of the striker's three-match ban and he is now available for selection as the Bulls look to get back on track against their local rivals at Edgar Street.

Ryan Green failed a late fitness test prior to the clash at the Pirelli Stadium as he battled to overcome a dead leg but he should have recovered in time to face Shrews.

Fellow defender Ryan Valentine, meanwhile, passed a test of his own to take his place in John Trewick's starting XI and he should be involved once again.

Danny Blanchett and Mark Marshall are set to play the final game of their respective loan spells unless Trewick's opts the extend their stay for a final time before Thursday's deadline.

Long-term absentee Craig Jones (back) remains out.

Paul Simpson may be able to call upon the services of Jamie Devitt when Shrewsbury go in search of local bragging rights.

The on-loan midfielder missed Saturday's 1-1 draw against Bury with a knee problem but has a fighting chance of shaking it off in time to be part of Simpson's matchday squad of 18.

Both Devitt and fellow loanee Waide Fairhurst will be hoping to make their mark in the derby with the game scheduled to be the last of their month-long stays at the club, unless Simpson extends their deals before Thursday's deadline.

Devitt is the only player in a busy treatment room who could be involved - with goalkeepers Chris Neal (broken finger) and Glyn Garner (shoulder), defender Mike Jackson (bone bruising) and midfielders Lewis Neal, Jake Simpson (both calf) and Craig Disley (knee) all still out.

Dave Hibbert and Paul Murray both recovered to line up against the Shakers at the weekend while Jake Robinson also overcame a knock to take his place on the bench, and all three should figure once again.

Goalkeeper Andreas Arestidou held off the threat of David Button's late arrival to make his first ever start for the club at the weekend and he could again be in line to get the nod.
